Laura has extensive trial experience practicing in King, Skagit and Whatcom counties. She has litigated before juries and judges in all phases of criminal and civil litigation. As a managing editor for two law reviews and working on federal and state death penalty appeals, Laura gained mastery of written advocacy to compliment her oral advocacy skills. Laura attended the prestigious National Criminal Defense College, a two-week intensive trial advocacy training program. She has extensive training in the collaborative model and was an original practitioner of collaborative divorce in Whatcom county.
